Video clips of the LHC and scientists working on the project
Three 15 minute films describe the history of particle physics, the applications that have resulted from new discoveries and the expectations that scientists have for the LHC. These can be downloaded from the Teachers TV website.

http://www.teachers.tv/video/23903 the fundamental forces of nature,
http://www.teachers.tv/video/23904 the quantum world and the hunt for the Higgs boson.
These films have been 'clipped' into 3-5 minute videos and are available on the STFC youtube channel or from the STFC servers.
The www.particledetectives.net website includes videoclips of students asking, and scientists answering, questions about the LHC project. Question and answer video clips.
Go LHC Go is a 13 minute film that describes the LHC and two of the experiments ATLAS and ALICE.
Access podcasts on the LHC and related science from www.cernpodcast.com or iTunes, including the visits of Quentin Wilson (presenter of C5's Fifth Gear), comedians Kevin Eldon and Simon Munnery and Captain Jack (John Barrowman) of TV's Dr Who and Torchwood.
Dr Tara Shears explains some of the scientific questions that the LHC will help answer. This link is to an external site, http://www.labreporter.com/
More video clips of LHC scientists talking about their work can be found on www.collidingparticles.com. This site includes teaching resources.
Watch a timelapse movie of the giant 'YB0' section of the CMS detector being lowered into the CMS cavern ready for assembly. The section, the largest of 15, weighs as much as 5 jumbo jets (1920 tonnes) and is 16m high, 17m wide and 13m long. This link is to the CERN website.
An award winning short film that introduces the ATLAS experiment and the fundamental physics the LHC will explore.
Video clips of the LHC project and historical material can be found on CERN's video database.
